A Confession
I have a proposition for all you bloggers...you see, I was tagged by Katie yesterday and, although I find myself quite interesting, you may not agree. The game is great fun, but I was tagged earlier in the month and don't want to scare anyone away! So, instead of revealing 8 facts, how about 1 confession? I think there should be a rule that if you have been tagged within the last 30 days, you may opt out and make one confession, so I am making one (a rule and a confession that is). I'm kind of bossy hunh? No, I'm not counting that as my confession because most of you probably already knew that!

Here it is...my dirty little secret...I have a subscription problem. Okay, that's not all...I keep them - those magazines, I can't part with them. It's just that I might neeeeed them. What if the school has a bake sale and I need that shortbread brownie recipe? What if someday we decide to travel to Iceland? I know I have no sun in my garden, but what if we move and I can finally plant that featured vegetable garden? What if I decide to change my hair style? Crazy isn't it?

I have a subscription problem too. I am like a little kid- I love getting a new magazine in the mail. Even a catalog! lol
I have gotten pretty good at recycling though.
But I hear your pain!

Oh thank goodness!!!! I too am a hoarder of magazines. I buy all my favorites each month and RARELY get rid of them. I have tried clipping the pictures that inspire me. But I'm like you. What if my tastes change? What if I ever do decide to start collecting this or that which the magazine has profiled. My pile is unbelievable, but I revisit all of them each season...then promptly forget each idea that I thought was so great!!
Help!!!!

Ha! I think you are on to something here! This game is much more time consuming than it first appears. Though fun, I cannot imagine trying to do it more than once a year. The confession should get you off the hook for a good while! ;-)
thanks for stopping by my blog. I am having so much fun reading yours also so will be back often!
I like your little idea!
(Psst..I'm a bit nutso about magazines too.)
:)
Must be genetic-- I actually had to buy the old Victoria Magazines because I stupidly threw them out!
I don't have a subscription problem, I have a magazine problem! I stopped my subscriptions because I would always see the new issue on the stands and I wouldn't get my subscription one untill weeks later. It was driving me nuts. Sometimes I couldn't wait and bought the issue, then I'd have two LOL! I don't keep them all, I donate the ones I don't want to the library (unfortunately my closet hold a bookcase filled with the ones I do want LOL)!

Hello - My name is Julie and I have every single Victoria magazine ever published along with Christmas issues of magazines that date back to the 1970's....
the crowd responds, "We love you Julie"
snicker snicker... I have the same 'problem'
OK, I am with Manuela on this. I get very annoyed when "my" magazines show up on the newsstand and I haven't received my subscription copy. I usually can't wait. And besides what if mine never come...such a dilemma. Way too many old magazines in the basement and various storage spots.
LOL, me , too, LOL
From what I've read from other bloggers and what I know about myself it seems there are a lot of us with magazine addictions. Sometimes I feel like they are taking over my living room!
I'm afraid I would have to cofess to the same addiction. I subscribe to many, many magazines and have a very hard time parting with them. It has become a real problem around my house and now my son is refusing to throw away any of his mags until I get rid of some of mine! YIKES!
