Herb Ox Is A Work Horse

I use these Herb-Ox Chicken bouillon cubes all of the time. They have a good taste and they don't have any MSG which is the biggest reason I use them. I do not tolerate MSG well and many of the other broths and cubes have MSG in them. I use the Herb-Ox cubes whenever a recipe calls for stock and I often cut them in half and use them in sauces to add a layer of flavor. They are a lot easier to store than cans of stock and a lot cheaper too - about $2.55 for 25 cubes which makes the equivalent of 12 cans of broth. They also come in a beef flavor. Time to make some soup!

Interesting... who knew? I'm obsessed with cooking in Chicken Stock.. but truth is a lot of time it is just something like rice for Ruby and this would certainly save me a fair amount of money. I'll have to try it.

I'm glad the fish turned out for you. If you guys eat salmon you should try my gingered salmon recipe... it is even better! If I do say so myself ;)

I have a MSG meter that goes off within minutes...You really don't want any details!
This is great, I had stopped using bullion for that reason.
We have made sure that all of our WhistleStop products are MSG free. Even the marinade~ not easy to find!

I use these all the time too! They are great to add extra flavor to a lot of different things.

Hmmmmmmm.........thinking some Chicken & Dumplings are sounding good right about now.

It's been chilly here so that would be WONDERFUL!
