Still Waiting
When I think of Easter I think of spring. I imagine brightly colored Easter eggs nestled in the green grass. I imagine children hunting for the freshly dyed eggs in their Easter outfits. Easter baskets come to mind... Snow? No. There is no snow in my Easter picture.
We had the eggs.
We had the baskets.
We also had snow - lots of snow.
So, Easter has come and gone and I am still waiting for spring.

Somewhere there is an Easter picture of me and my brother circa 1956 standing in our Easter finery with snowbanks way taller than we were. To this day I remember my father aiming the camera and telling us to "think warm". Hard when your teeth are chattering :>)

Oh yeah, guess you may not know that I grew up in Northern Vermont, not a lot different climate wise than Minnesota.
Janet...again
Oh you poor girl! I cannot take too much Winter..lest I get the blues. Better not venture over to my blog ...because I am working on both gardens - flowers and veggie.
