Poof

I walk the three steps from the microwave oven to the kitchen island to get a bowl for Owen's chicken noodle soup. Out of the corner of my eye, I see a blue and maize streak duck in and out of the tall cabinet that houses the mixer, baking supplies and microwave. In an instant, I heard a thud followed by "yeaha". As I turn my head to look, I hear the pop, I blink and open my eyes to find this:

He was "very sorry" and, I must admit, it was hard not to laugh while asking him just exactly what he was thinking when he jumped on the brand new 5lb bag of powdered sugar - he wasn't sure and neither was I.

Dang, woman. When's the last time you cleaned house? That poor kid looks like he could use a good bath, too. You Northeners...no concept of good housekeeping....sheesh.

You know I'm kidding and you know I think he looks ADORABLE!

YES!! I bet that was a pain to clean up. I have a similar style accident post coming up for a post. Lets just say a dozen eggs and Kaitlin.

He is rather cute. Would be hard to keep a straight face.

ROFL! I guess you won't be making too much frosting with that bag of powdered sugar will you?

I sure wouldn't have wanted to clean that mess up!

This reminds me of the time I came downstairs to find my daughter, then two, ever so intently rolling a pile of icing sugar into the carpet with a rolling pin!! It is one of my favourite memories, and I can still see the concentration on her little face. She had emptied out the bag, and went straight to work. Like you, I had the presence of mind to not show my horror (at the thoughts of the clean-up), and instead saw the hilarity of it and grabbed my camera. You have inspired me to scan the picture into my computer so I can share it, and then I'll actually scrapbook it as I have been meaning to do for so long!

Thanks for the memory...your kids are so adorable. I can't wait to see the next little critter!!

ROFLMAO!!!

That is the cutest and funniest thing I have seen in a Looong time.

Made even more funnier by the fact that it didn't happen in *my* house.

I love that you love your kid so much that he didn't even look scared.

Hugs,
Leeann

Oh sheesh...and at my house, the dog and cats would run through it and drag it all over the house, up onto the beds.
He looks so cute, how could you NOT laugh. Or cry. : )
I am tickled you got it on film...it is priceless!

Hugs,
Sue
