What's In Your Cup?
I don't know about you, but I really enjoy my morning cup of coffee - I like to have 3/4 of a cup black. If I could pick any coffee to drink it would be Peet's Major Dickason's Blend. This coffee will blow Starbucks away any day (I will drink Verona, but only if I have to). I sound like a coffee snob, don't I? This coffee is so tasty though - it's not bitter, really smooth, but not at all wimpy. I am jealous if you live close enough to Peet's to just pick up a pound when you need it; we are not so fortunate, but can order it from Peet's.com, or we can get it when we are in Chicago. In their gift section, they sell coffee samplers which make a nice housewarming present, or hostess gift. What kind of coffee do you drink?

I love Peet's coffee too. You are right, it is so much better than Starbucks! I usually buy the Italian Roast. I have a Peet's by my work and one by my home and now my grocery store sells it.
I, too, am a black coffee girl with one sugar...not too strong, please. In Canada, Tim Hortons coffee shop is an icon...a rite of passage. Everyone loves their Timmy's (although I hate when people call their coffee that).
Speaking of that, I'm off to have a cup!! I need it this morning!!

Welll I buy the Eight O'Clock brand at Wal-Mart...it is the cheapest and best tasting...I can't imagine switching. I buy whole beans and grind them.
Several bloggers have sent me coffee recently...so funny. I really am enjoying some from Hawaii with a coconut flavor and a macadamia flavor.
Dear Heather, I raised you right. Peet's is the only coffee.
Love you, Mom
I am not a coffee drinker but I sure do love the smell of it when I am walking down the aisle in the grocery store. LOL
Heather, I'm not a big coffee drinker (more so in winter), but have to have mine very sweet, lots of French Vanilla, or some flavoring to make it work for me. The BEST coffee I ever had was Blue Mountain in Jamaica. Even I could taste a difference in that one. It's really expensive though.

Oh, and my hubby swears by the Walmart brand 100% Arabica coffee, $2.18 a bag!

I'm a coffee snob! I do try to buy fair trade coffee and I do like the one by Starbucks. But then I have never had a chance to try Peets and I have heard that it beats Starbucks in taste! We don't get a Peets here in Canada and it is to expensive to ship!
Did you know they sell Peet's at Plum Market? (My boss went to grad school at Berkeley, and has been a Peet's mail order customer for almost 30 years!)
Tricia (from GW)
Tricia,
Not only do they have Peet's, but they have See's candy too. Heaven!
Heather
